Type Locality and Naming
By the village of Kumyshkan, Parkent district, Tashkent region. T.M. Kremlyakova, M.V. Mikulin, M.P. Safarov (Safarovidr., 1999f.).

Lithology and Thickness
Reddish-brown paleosols with distinct illuvial layers (shohi) and separating loesses (silt loams). Thickness up to 30m

Lower contact
Lies on siltstone (aleurolites) ("stone loesses") of the upper Pliocene without visible unconformity

It is conformably overlain by deposits of the Zarkent Fm.
